Excavated Indian Head Cent Dated 1863

This excavated 1863 dated Indian Head cent was excavated in the area of Brandy Station, VA along with other Civil War relics. The coin shows wear, but the date is clearly visible, and it has a very nice chocolate brown green patina. This coin will make a very nice addition to any Civil War campsite, soldier personal item, or general relic collection.
