2nd United States Cavalry 1861 Framed Print - Don Troiani

SOLD

This professionally framed print is titled "2nd United States Cavalry 1861".  It is signed and numbered by the artist Don Troiani and is number 3 of 750.  According to the accompanying information: "Depicted here, the dragoons wear the Model 1854 uniform jacket prescribed for all mounted units.  Dark blue trousers were prescribed in G.O. No. 3, 24 March 1858 and were worn by the second Dragoons well into the first year of the Civil War.  The Dragoons' headgear is the Model 1858 forage cap."  More information and history will accompany this print and can be viewed in the additional images in this listing.  Due to the glare from the glass in the frame, I was unable to capture a quality image of the actual print.  Given this, I included a stock image of the same print which is the first image you see in this listing.  I can assure you that the framed print is of excellent quality.  The frame, in very good condition, measures approximately 20 1/4 x 25 inches and is ready to hang and will be an excellent addition to hang in any relic room, den, or office.  Shipping is not included and will be determined by location shipped to.
