Artillery Shrapnel & Case Shot

This artillery shrapnel and shot are from a US 12 pounder case-shot. One of the three shot is still affixed to the shrapnel interior wall, while two are loose. Its approximate weight is 13 1/2 ounces and approximate width and length is 2.5 x 3 inches. This shrapnel and shot is from a collection primarily assembled from the Gettysburg, PA area but I cannot say, with all certainty, that this relic was recovered there. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War artillery or general relic collection.
