This highly detailed excavated carved bullet was recovered from Uniontown, MD and measures approximately .52 inch in diameter and .45 inch in height. Carved bullets are recovered from time to time and are very personal campsite items handled directly by a soldier. This one appears to me to be carved into the shape of a crown and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
