Eagle Plate

Item: ExcavatedUS eagle plate.
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass with solder fill.
Condition: Fair, excavated. The brass face has a green-brown patina with dents and breaks at several areas of the rim. The rear solder is present and solid. The two iron attachment loops are no longer present and this plate has not been repaired.
Comments: If you prefer that war torn appearance for your collection, then this plate is for you.
Recovered: Orange County, VA
Approximate diameter: 64 mm.
