Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. The button is loaded with gilt and has no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Comments: This big beautiful infantry button is will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
Recovered: Unknown, but from a Shenendoah Valley, VA collection.
