Backmark: "U. S. / ORDNANCE CORPS"
Construction: Convex, three-piece.
Approximate size: 21 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. This button has a very nice dusty deep green patina. There is a moderate push to the front lower right quadrant and a break and crack in the rim. It has no repairs.
Comments: This Federal ordnance coat button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
