North Carolina State Seal Coat Button

Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure shank present. This button is partially covered with silver wash and there is a small push at the legs in the figure on the left. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. These crudely made buttons have all kinds of character and beautifully display the workmanship or, lack thereof, from the manufacturing process. This button will be an excellent example to add to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
