This is THE excavated "Shenandoah Rabbit" recovered by relic hunter Frank Allen Dodson in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Initially believed to be a large solidified puddle of campsite bullet lead, when turned a certain way, it took on the form of a sitting rabbit. In 2010 it was featured in the "North South Trader's Civil War" magazine Volume 35, Number 1 on page 17. It weighs nearly 3 pounds and measures approximately 5-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches in width and length. This published and very unique relic will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
