Three Confederate Letter Buttons

These three excavated Confederate letter coat buttons were all acquired direct from the digger who recovered them from Baltimore County, MD. From left to right in the first image are: a "lined I" Infantry button, a "block letter A" Artillery and a "Script I" Infantry button. All three buttons were once two-piece convex examples that, at some point in time, were flattened. Two have brown patinas and one with green. These three buttons will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
