Item: Excavated US oval waist belt plate - Baby Size
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass with solder fill and arrow type brass attachment hook.
Condition: Fair. Its brass front has several bends and folds. The brass face has a brown patina and the rear has partial solder but is missing its hooks.
Recovered: Madison, VA
Approximate size: 41 x 67 mm. with distortion (without distortion, plate would typically measure 40 x 71 mm.)
