Construction: High convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure shank present. This button has ample gilt with no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs. The shank is bent over to the rear of the button.
Comments: This US infantry button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
Recovered: Culpeper County, VA.
