Confederate Ten Dollar Note
This Confederate ten dollar
note dated February 17, 1864, with its brilliant pink color, is in extra fine condition. One
side of this note shows the horses pulling cannon. The lower right
hand corner is the likeness of Robert Hunter who served as a CS Senator and
as Confederate Secretary of State. Prior to the war he was a US
Congressman and Senator from Virginia. This very handsome note
will come in a clear acid free envelope for preservation and display.

Confederate One Hundred Dollar Note
This one
hundred dollar Confederate note has "J. T. Paterson, Columbia, S.C." at the
lower left. It is hand dated June 9, 1862 and is numbered in red "No.
4500" The scene pictured on the front is that of a railway train (with
straight steam from the locomotive), a steamboat in the distance, with a
milkmaid to the left. The note paper is soft, with black ink,
light tan in color, and it has a few minor pin holes which are visible when
held up to a strong light. The rear is blank with the exception of
possibly the actual issue date of June 25, 1862 along with a signature.
This note will come in a clear acid free envelope for preservation and
display. Ref. Criswell T-39.

Confederate Five Dollar Note
This 1864 dated Five dollar Confederate note is in fine to very fine condition
and was "Engraved by Keatinge & Ball. Columbia S.C." The note is still
fairly crisp with a very pleasing pink color and no tears. It does
have a few brown spots mainly near the upper edge and the front right edge
is unevenly cut. Pictured on the front is the Confederate Capitol at
Richmond, VA. and on the lower right is C. G. Memminger who served as the
Confederate Secretary of the Treasury. This note will come in a clear acid
free envelope for preservation and display. Ref. Criswell T-69.
