Order Item

Orders may be placed by either email or telephone.

Email is the preferred method to order.  If calling,  the best time to reach me directly is in the evening before 10 PM or during the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends.   In the event you receive my answering machine please leave your name, telephone number, and the best time to reach you.  I return all email and phone calls promptly.

Please do not send payment unless you have contacted me first to confirm that the item is still available and to also obtain shipping fee amount.  I will do my best to indicate in a timely manner when an item is on hold, a sale is pending, or an item has been sold.

When ordering an item, with the exception of North South Trader Magazines (see below), please be sure to include the item number which is preceded by PC by each item in the listings.

When ordering North South Trader Magazines please indicate which issue(s) you would like to order by using the Volume and Number reference.

         Payment

Personal checks, PayPal, money orders, and bank checks are accepted.   The credit cards shown below are accepted through PayPal.

Payment must be received within 7 days from the time you place your order.   The item will be held for you during this time.  If payment is not received within 7 days then the item will be re-listed for sale.

If paying by personal check, the check must clear the bank before the item will be shipped.  I will ship the item no later than 10 days from receipt of the personal check. 

Money orders, PayPal payments and bank checks, once received, will receive next business day shipping.

Actual USPS shipping fees (by US Priority Mail) and insurance are paid buy the buyer.

          Shipping

All items, with the exception of North South Trader magazines, are shipped by US Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance.

Actual USPS postage and insurance will be determined and added to the cost of the item.   I do not charge any handling or carrying fees. 

All items are packaged securely and carefully for safe delivery.

         Guarantee

All items are guaranteed as described, authentic, and for life.  I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, therefore any item may be returned, for any reason, for a full refund, less shipping fees, provided the item is returned unaltered, fully insured, and within 5 days of receipt the item.  Please notify me of your intent to return an item, prior to shipping the item.

         Layaway

Any item may be purchased with a 1/3 down payment, with the balance paid within 60 days.  The down payment must be received within 7 days from the time the order is placed.  If the down payment does not arrive within the 7 day time frame then the item will be re-listed for sale.  The 60 day period begins at the time the order is placed. The item will be held until final payment is received and subsequently shipped on the next business day.  If the balance is not paid within the 60 day time period then the purchaser shall forfeit all monies received and the item will be re-listed for sale.  There are no refunds for items purchased using layaway.  Please be absolutely sure that you want the item before using the layaway payment plan.

        Customer Privacy Policy

It is the policy of Virginia Civil War Relics not to share its customer's names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers or any other personal information with any individual, business or other entity.  VCWR customers will not receive any catalogues, offers and/or unsolicited emails unless specifically requested to receive such by the customer.
