Item: Spencer Carbine Cartridge
Condition: Excavated, very good condition. The bullet itself has a dirty off-white patina with no dings or surface chips, and is in great shape. The brass cartridge casing has an underlying soil covered green patina with no dents. There are a 3-4 very small fractures in the brass case where it connects with the bullet however, they do not affect the cartridge's structural integrity. The cartridge is in overall very solid condition, with no holes, breaks, repairs, or other cracks.

Approximate size: .542 inch diameter x 1.675 inch length.

Comments: This cartridge is not a "put-together" and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet, cartridge, or general relic collection.
