.58 Caliber Gardner Bullet - Fishing Line Sinker

SOLD

Here is a cool Confederate relic, the nose of this Confederate Gardner bullet has been flatened and pierced to create a hole for what would have likely been a fishing line sinker. The hole is now clogged with something that has hardened perhaps silt from time resting at the bottom of a stream. This relic was acquired directly from the digger's family and according to the information received this bullet was recovered in one of General Longstreet’s camps in the area of Beaver Bridge, Chesterfield County, VA. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
