Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 16 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. This handsome button has just a tinge of gilt highlighting the eagle and letters "AVC". There are no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Charlestown, WV area.

Comments: This Alabama Volunteer Corps cuff button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
