Artillery and Campsite Relics - Bartow, WV

SOLD

These seven excavated relics were all recovered from the Bartow, WV area. It was here that a small battle occurred on October 3, 1861 and was then known as "Camp Bartow" which was situated along the Greenbrier River. Included in the group are the following: musket butt plate, 1.5 inch canister shot, hand-made lead fishing weight, shell nose shrapnel, small and large brass suspender buckles and a portion of a camp knife. These relics will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite, battlefield, or general relic collection.
