Bullet in Wood - Bentonville, NC

SOLD

This piece of wood has what is believed to be a .52 caliber Sharps carbine bullet imbedded in it. It was acquired directly from the digger who recovered it on April 17, 2016 in Bentonville, NC. The wood is solid, has no repairs, and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War battle display, bullet, or general relic collection. The digger, Robert Braswell, Jr. of Gaston, NC., recovered many fine relics from both North Carolina and Virginia over several decades. Get to know Robert's story by clicking on his name above. The piece of wood measures approximately 2-1/2 x 16-3/4 inches.
