Very Small Excavated Bullet Mold

SOLD

This very small excavated bullet mold is approximately 3-5/8 inches in length. It produced a small caliber round ball or bullet and is from a collection that was primarily assembled from the Gettysburg, PA area. The device is constructed of iron which is now fused in its closed position from time spent in the elements. Its surface was thinly coated at some point as a protective measure, but the coating now appears to be wearing away at some areas. This diminutive bullet mold, which is solid and complete, has not been repaired and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War campsite, battlefield, or general relic collection.
