Item: Spur - Late 1800s
Construction: Iron
Approximate size: 4-1/2 (W) x 5-1/2 (L) inches
Condition: Excellent. The iron has minimal surface rust but otherwise no breaks or repairs. The finely crafted rowel, which freely spins, has lines emanating from its center.
Recovered: Unknown, but likely a barn find.
Comments: According to local spur expert, this example may be an unmarked "Buermann" spur. This spur will be an excellent addition to any post-Civil War spur or general relic collection.
