Condition: Fair, excavated, back with shank missing. Front has a mottled green-brown (mostly green) patina with no pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: In the area of the "Naked Battle" or Battle of Boon's (Boone's) Mill Pond, NC

Comments: This Confederate artillery button was acquired directly from the digger, Robert Braswell, Jr. of Gaston, NC., who recovered many fine relics from both North Carolina and Virginia over several decades.
