Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, shank missing. The button has a dusty brown patina with no pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: Fredericksburg, VA area.
Reference: Tice: CSA240A1 Albert: CS 116A
Comments: This artillery coat button comes direct from the digger's family and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
