Item: Confederate Cavalry Button - Lined "C"

Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure partial shank present. This button has a pleasing even brown patina with a very slight push at the bottom of the top serif. It has no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered:  Garysburg, NC

Comments: This relic was acquired directly from the digger, Robert Braswell, Jr. of Gaston, NC., who recovered many fine relics from both North Carolina and Virginia over several decades.
