Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. The front, with its raised letter "I", is absolutely stunning. It has a very pleasing even brown patina with no pushes, holes or cracks. The rear iron back is pushed in and, while remarkably solid, it has several holes and breaks. The shank is nearly straight up and solidly in place.
Comments: This fine Confederate infantry button will be an excellent addition to any Civil War button or general relic collection.
