Confederate Note & Federal Button Display

This handsome old display consist of a Virginia, City of Richmond Sixty Cents note, a New York state seal coat button, a Federal Infantry overcoat button, and two Federal general service coat buttons. The note, dated April 14, 1862, is in good condition and is hand signed and numbered "A 1080". The buttons, ranging in fair to very good condition, were all recovered inĀ Culpeper County, VA. The items are displayed within a wood plaque covered and secured with plexi-glass. The display is not new and, while solid, does show scuffing on its bottom border. It measures approximately 7/8 x 6 x 10 inches. This display will look great on any office, den, or family room wall and will also be an excellent addition to any Civil War currency, excavated button or general relic collection.
