Condition: Excellent. This bullet has a bright light-grey patina and is a near perfect example with a slightly out of round skirt. Printed in black ink on the bullet is "C.S. / .567 / S.L."
Recovered: Manassas, VA area.
Approximate size: .560 x 1.008 inches. Weight 464 grains.
Reference: M&M: Pages 50-51 #371; Thomas' RBTR Part Four, Page 208, #369 - Scans of these pages are found in the additional images. 
Comments: In "Round Ball to Rimfire, Part Four" by Dean S. Thomas, page 208, regarding #369, the remarks state "Truncated cone cavity, made on Lehner & White machinery at Richmond". This example will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
