Item: Federal .36 Caliber Navy Revolver Bullet - St Louis Arsenal
Condition: Very good, excavated, unfired. Waxy surface with brown patina. One side of the bullet is marked with the numeral "99" in black ink (see Comments below).
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: .383 inch diameter, .603 inch length, 129.5 grains weight.

Comments: This example is from a very old bullet collection. The digger/collector identified and numbered each bullet with its corresponding McKee & Mason bullet reference number. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
