Five Federal General Service Eagle Coat Buttons

SOLD

These five Federal general service eagle coat buttons were all recovered from Trevilians, VA by the late Jeff Jenkins. The buttons were acquired directly from Jeff, an avid relic hunter who lived his entire life in Madison County, VA. All of the buttons measure approximately 19 mm, are in very good condition with nice green patinas. All have their shanks and some have pushes. It appears that every button has a Scovill Waterbury backmark, however some marks are easier to see than others. None have been repaired. These buttons will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
