Approximate size: 3-5/8 (W) x 4-3/4 (L) inches
Condition: Very good. The iron has moderate surface pitting but otherwise is solid, has no breaks or repairs. Its iron rowel is present and freely spins.
Recovered: Charlestown, WV area.
Comments: This large size iron spur with rowel, though not a military issue spur, was recovered with Civil War relics. It will be an excellent addition to any general relic collection.
