Backmark: Blank with channel.
Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, shank present, but is loose inside of the button. This button has a dark brown patina with no pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: Garysburg, NC

Comments: This button was acquired directly from the digger, Robert Braswell, Jr. of Gaston, NC., who recovered many fine relics from both North Carolina and Virginia over several decades.
