Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, shank missing. The button has an overall dusty rich green patina. There may be a very slight push to the center front, but otherwise, it has no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Comments: The detail of the state seal displays quite well on the green patina of this button. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
Recovered: Wilmington, NC area.
