One Ring Gardner Bullet

Item: One Ring .58 Caliber Gardner Bullet
Condition: Excellent. This bullet has a dirty white patina and is a near perfect example. There are a couple of scuff marks in the surface patina but nothing severe and its skirt is nicely rounded. The tip of the bullet shows a clear cut sprue.
Recovered: Culpeper, VA
Approximate size: .58 x .94 inches.

Comments: One ring .58 caliber Gardner bullets are not extremely rare but from time to time show up and this example will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
