Item: Federal .44 Caliber Pistol Bullet for Army Revolver
Condition: Very good, excavated, unfired. Smooth surface with off white patina. One side of the bullet is marked with the numeral "99" in black ink (see Comments below).
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: .444 inch diameter, .699 inch length, 215.2 grains weight.

Comments: This example is from a very old bullet collection. The digger/collector identified and numbered each bullet with its corresponding McKee & Mason bullet reference number. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
