Picket Bullet

SOLD

This picket bullet for country rifle is in good condition and has a very nice gray-white patina. It measures approximately .473 x 838 inches. The diagonal slice in the body of the bullet is not deep, is a period cut, and not a digger ding. It is more visible in the high resolution image than in hand under normal lighting. This bullet was recovered in the area of Richmond, VA by 1950 - 60's local Virginia relic hunter, Jim Cullinan. Jim was one of the early Civil War relic hunters that started out with a true "army mine detector" that actually required a backpack to operate. M&M 19
