Item: Regimental Number "8"
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass.
Condition: Good, excavated, wire loops missing. The brass has a brown patina. There is portion of brass missing in the lower loop, with the rim in that same area, still connected at on end. There are no cracks, bends, repairs or other breaks.
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: 5/8 x 1 inch.
Comments: This regimental number "8" will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War insignia or general relic collection.
