Rifleman Buckle - Male Half

SOLD

This excavated rifleman buckle male half section is in very good solid condition and is the part with the tongue. It was recovered in the area of Brandy Station, VA. It is complete, constructed of brass, and has a very greenish-brown patina.  Other than very minor bending of the belt attachment bar, it has no cracks, breaks, repairs, or major bends. If you have the other female half section of this buckle, then this available half section should work well with it. Approx. 40 x72 mm. (tongue length 60 mm.) This rifleman buckle half will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War buckle, plate, or general relic collection.
