These fifteen high-grade excavated general service eagle coat buttons were all recovered in Charles City County, VA. These buttons are some of the bests of the best as far as condition is concerned for excavated examples. All have clear raised eagles holding arrows and olive branches in their talons with a central patriotic shield. All have very pleasing dusty brown patinas with clear eagles and secure shanks. All have backmarks. None of the buttons have any pushes cracks, breaks, or repairs. These fine eagle buttons will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection. A small glass top display case will be included at no additional charge.
