Item: .44 Caliber Henry Rifle Cartridge
Condition: Very good, excavated, solid. The brass casing has a green-brown patina. There is a small break where the casing meets the bullet on one side. This break appears to be quite old and does not affect the overall integrity of the cartridge. Otherwise, there are no dents, cracks, or other breaks. The base of the cartridge has the headstamp of the raised letter "H". The lead bullet has minor surface wear near the tip. There are no repairs and it is not a put-together.
Recovered: Chesterfield County, VA.
Approximate size: .45-inch diameter, 1.34-inch length, 250 grains weight.
