Item: Federal 6-Pounder Case-Shot Shell with Unpunched Bormann Time Fuze
Gun: 6-pounder smoothbore, 3.67-inch caliber.
Fuzing: Bormann time fuze.
Approximate size: Weight: 4.8 pounds. Diameter: 3.56 inches.
Condition: Good, excavated, unfired. The surface of the shell has moderate-heavy pitting and a partially visible mold seam. Its unpunched Bormann time-fuze is present with several numbers and hashmarks clearly visible. The iron has been lightly clear coated and treated with electrolysis for preservation. It has been deactivated and is ready for display. No repairs.
