Condition: Excellent, excavated. The bullet has an overall white surface patina. It is marked "HARRISON'S LANDING / 11-30-74" representing its recovery location and date.
Recovered: Harrison's Landing, VA.
Approximate size: .643-inch diameter; 393 grains weight.

This bullet is one of those artifacts and is marked with his recognizable printing style. Mac Mason co-authored "Civil War Projectiles II Small Arms & Field Artillery with Supplement" which is still widely used by diggers and collectors in the identification of Civil War bullets, cartridges, artillery shells and fuzes.
