.69 Caliber "Prussian" Rifle Musket Bullet

SOLD

Item: Excavated .69 caliber "Prussian" rifle musket bullet.
Condition: Very good. This large bullet has a mostly tan-white patina and is a near perfect example. There is a small area of discoloration on one side and some patina chipping on its rim. The skirt is slightly out of round, but otherwise it is a finely shaped example. A mold seam is visible on both sides.
Comments: .69 caliber Prussian bullets are some of the largest bullets used during the Civil war and this example will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
Recovered:  Central Virginia.
Approximate size:  .674 x 1.16 inches.
Reference: M&M: 285 / Thomas' RBTR Part one, #322
