Condition: Excellent, previously owned. The book is in like new condition and its dustcover is nearly so with very slight edge wear. 
Content Information: Included in the additional images in this listing are twenty-four images of various artillery, ammunition, and additional information that represent only a fraction of the images contained in the book. You will see in image #16 two photographs taken August 1978 showing the same row of residences where a section of a cannon rifle landed on one of the hoses as indicated by an arrow in the previous image, #15. The book also includes a glossary of technical terms, information on field artillery guns, projectiles, and fuzes including drawings of fuze cross-sections. Finally, there are three appendices of artillery related technical information, records, tables and other information.
Comments:  This out-of-print reference book is a treasure trove of information on Civil War field artillery projectiles and is a must have for the Civil War artillery collector. It will be an excellent addition to any Civil War artillery or general relic reference library.
