This excavated Civil War relic display case includes an Austrian rifle bayonet, 29 bullets and two fused iron nails all from the Glenn Trimmer Collection. According to the accompanying label they were recovered 2009 from a Union target range area of Marlborough Point in Stafford County, VA. The wood and glass display case with locking hardware measures approximately 10 x 24 x 2-1/8 inches and weighs approximately 7.8 pounds. The relics are mounted in place by the pressure of the glass against the relics and blue felt on a foam backing. This display was acquired directly from the Trimmer family and will be an excellent addition to any office, den, or family room. Key will be included.
