Socket Bayonet Portion with Leather Scabbard Section

This excavated socket bayonet portion includes a 4-3/4-inch section of its leather scabbard. Both iron and leather are in solid condition and the leather is tightly secured to the blade. The bayonet's overall length is approximately 13-1/2 inches. The socket is damaged and approximately 7-1/2 inches of the blade is no longer present. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite, battlefield, or general relic collection.
