This excavated Enfield bayonet blade tip was reshaped into a hook and likely used as a campsite pot hook. Interestingly, the socket portion appears to have been sheared off at the neck. The iron is in very good condition and is solid. Its overall length measures approximately 15 inches. This unique relic was excavated in Murfreesboro, TN and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
