This excavated pewter canteen spout includes its tin collar. The spout is marked "HADDEN. PORTER & BOOTH. PHILa". Typically, when canteen spouts are recovered, their collars aren't present. This example was recovered in the Gettysburg, PA area and is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, bends, or repairs. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
