These cavalry saber scabbard remains were recovered together from the Mount Jackson, VA area. The largest section with drag measures 14-3/8 inches in length. While there are holes in various areas, all three sections are in remarkably solid condition. The two smaller sections each have ring mounts which are now stationary as a result of time in the elements. All three sections have been treated with electrolysis and paraffin so as to preserve the iron. This scabbard relic will be an excellent addition to any cavalry, sword or general relic collection.
A 15 x 8-3/8 x 2-1/8-inch glass top wood display case is available at an additional cost and, if interested, just inquire and I will respond with images and price.
