With the number of bullets fired during Civil War battles, it is not surprising that two bullets would find each other in mid-air. These two bullets appear to have done just that. This example clearly shows both bullets fuzed together from the force of the collision of their heated lead. The bullets now have a white-grey patina with distorted bases visible. This is fine example weighs approximately two ounces, and I have provided ample images so that it is entirely visible from all angles. It was recovered in the greater Richmond, VA area and acquired directly from the family of the digger. These collided bullets will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
