Description: Roman "I" on a plain field.
Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. The front is absolutely stunning with its even dusty brown patina. This very solid button has no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Spotsylvania County, VA area.

Comments: This fine Confederate infantry button was just acquired directly from the local Virginia digger and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War button or general relic collection. There will be no need to upgrade.
